In addition, notes are provided within excerpts when the editors chose to omit sections of a book to get to a conclusion. This book could be useful to everyone who loves mysteries, especially those with a taste of Tex [...]

Some remarkable samples of regional fiction - only bad part is that you only get one chapter of each representative book, and due primarily to space restrictions, some worthy authors are omitted. Still, serves the purpose of introducing writers with whom you may be unfamiliar, while at the same time serving as a survey of the incredibly varied Texas geographies and cultures.
