An unusual Christmas tale that mixes the spirit of Christmas with the magic of the unknown. Marie arrives at the Victorian house where she has rented a room and there she experiences a Christmas Eve that she will forever remember.Very well written and fluid. It lets the reader ponder what we have in store in the future!

Would you believe that a 43 page novella was too long? It seemed like the beginning could've been summarized in a few paragraphs and the story could begin quicker. We eventually meet William and the story stops and goes to a new scene. I found that a lot. These sudden stops where action could move the story. I'm sad to say that I found the story unsatisfying.
